- Rocky - The story behind the making of Rocky is as inspiring the movie itself. Sylvester Stallone wrote the script for Rocky in three days and refused to sell it unless he was the star of the movie. With a budget of only $1 million Rocky grossed over $225 million and started Stallone's career
